How To Pick Out A Dog Leash
When you pick out your dogs leash you want it to be able to be extendable so he doesn't have to stay a two feet in front of you. You don't want it to scratch his neck or be uncomfortable. Though I am a bling lover myself, I would not suggest fancy jewels because the dog may scratch at them or bite it.
Dog Treats
I'm guessing you noticed how much I mention dog treats. That's because dogs love them and when you give a dog one its like a sort of praise. You should only give treats for a reason. If your dog is barking and you want it to be quiet and you give it a treat it learns that barking is a way to earn treats. Dog treats should be chosen carefully, and be given sparingly.
How To Get Your Dog To Sit Or Lay Down
If you want to train your dog to sit or lay down or any other basic positions all you need is some treats and some patience. Get some treats and with your dog move your hand and tease him with the treats. If he does this correctly he will follow your hand and he might get into the position you wanted. If he does say sit and give him a treat. repeat this several times and hopefully he will learn what you wanted him to do.
How To Get Your Dog To Appreciate Their Crate
When you put your dog in a crate he probably won't want to at first. Put a treat or two in the crate and close it he will try to get it, let him get it and whenever he goes into his crate give him a treat. As you do this he will learn that good things happen when he goes to his crate. Once he learns this you will be able to give him treats less often and just call and have him come.

Dog Toys
You want your dogs toys to have a purpose, if you get your dog millions of toys only a few of them will be used. For example I would get my dog 1 or 2 squeaky toys, a bone to chew on, and the toy that your dog wrestles kibble out of, and some balls. Dogs also love things that smell like you, so maybe you should put 1 of your old T-shirts or blankets in there, or something that smells like you.

The Shih Tzu
Shih tzus are cute, fun, and make great lapdogs, but are loud. I highly recommend breeding a shih tzu with a schaunzer. They are adorable, enjoyable, don't shed, and are not as yappy.
